• Where: Located in a public road before or on the far side of an intersection.
• Purpose: Informs vehicles to never U-turn so that it faces the opposite direction at night
• Action: Never U-turn your vehicle around at night to face the opposite direction.
• Name: No Overtaking
• Where: Located in any public road.
• Purpose: Informs you that overtaking vehicles is prohibited or forbidden for the next 500 metres.
• Action: When driving a vehicle do not overtake any vehicle for the next 500 metres.
• Name: Temporary Police flashing light sign
• Where: Located in any road.
• Purpose: Warns you of a collision scene, temporary stop sign, roadblock or similar scene where police are on duty.
• Action: Be on a lookout for a stop sign that follows after the flashing blue light or on demand of a police officer.

• Where: Located in any road especially in rural areas near schools
• Purpose: Shows you that there is a traffic officer ahead.
• Action: Safely slow down and make sure to stop the vehicle if the traffic officer instructs you to do so.

• Purpose: Shows you that there is a scholar patrol operating ahead.

• Purpose: Warns you of a temporary construction or maintenance works ahead.
• Action: Safely slow down and watch out for other temporary road traffic signs, people regulating the traffic or who might be crossing the road.

• Where: Located in any road.
• Purpose: Warns you of a grader that is working on the carriageway ahead.
• Action: Safely slow down, drive slowly past the grader. The full width of the road may not be available and there could be sand or gravel on the carriageway that could affect the handling of the vehicle.
• Name: Surface step sign
• Where: Located in any road.
• Purpose: Warns of the level of the right-hand side of the carriageway is higher than the left-hand side.
• Action: Safely slow down and be aware that your vehicle may tilt to the left if you straddle the step between the higher and lower level.

• Where: Located in any road
• Purpose: Warns you of a softer road material on the road than reasonably expected and could be dangerous for anyone who wants to move off the road.
• Action: Never drive or stop on the shoulder. When it is un-avoidable, for avoiding a collision, slow down as much as possible because the vehicle will pull in the direction of the shoulder when you move off the road.

• Purpose: Warns you of some traffic ahead that is being controlled temporarily by a "STOP/ GO" sign.
• Action: Safely slow down and be ready to stop.
• Name: Construction vehicle crossing sign
• Where: Located in any road.
• Purpose: Warns you that heavy vehicles regularly cross or will join the road from left or right.
• Action: Safely look out for trucks that could force you to slow down.
• Name: Accident ahead sign
• Where: Located in any road.
• Purpose: Warns you that the road ahead may be obstructed, there could be pedestrians or there could be wreckage, injured persons, animals or broken glass on the road surface.
• Action: Safely slow down immediately be on a lookout for a person controlling the traffic and be ready to stop.
• Name: Hazard marker sign
• Where: Located in any street particularly in rural areas.
• Purpose: It warns of an obstruction or temporary obstruction next to the road. The road alignment to the left or right hand side is altered.
• Action: Do not pass to the left of the sign.
• Name: Loose stones.
• Where: Located in any road.
• Purpose: Warns you of loose stones or gravel on the road.
• Action: Safely slow down and be on a lookout for oncoming vehicles that could throw up stones that could damage your vehicle. Vehicles braking and turning capacity could also be affected negatively.
